Update: The family asked for prayers that he would become more alert. He needs to wake up so he can eat. They stopped some of his medication yesterday that could have been keeping him more sedated so they are hopeful he grows alert soon.

Steve lives in LaGrange, GA and is the father-in-law of a recent guest at Cedar Crest, Christy Spates. Steve was just diagnosed with cancer of pancreas, lung and a spot on his back. He is 63 years old.

He is 10 years old and autistic. He was bit on the hand by a copper head snake and had to be air lifted to Shreveport. Please pray for him!

He is hospitalized at Willis Knighten Pierremont in Shreveport due to contracting the MSSA bacteria infection from what is thought to have been a spider bite. He has had three surgeries to place drain tubes to discharge the infection from his body and he is receiving antibiotic treatments via the bone marrow in his leg. Please pray that God will heal his body and that there will be no long term issues due to this infection. Thank you church family for your prayers.

Prayer Request: Please continue to pray as a miracle is Rolf's only hope. (persistent infections, much pain, and open wounds after a failed hip replacement) Prayer grams have been most encouraging to him! He welcomes them as they remain his primary link to the body of Christ. Please pray for healing, comfort, and a successful treatment program. May an unmistakable intervention by our lord bring Rolf not only better health but a closer spiritual walk. Thank you for your continued prayers!
